Faculty & Staff

Ms. de Leon is proudly serving as Principal of The International School at Gregory since 2022.  Her 28-yr. career as an educator includes 18 years of teaching at all levels and serving as a program coordinator and an administrator for 10 years.

Her passion for traveling to experience new places, cultures & traditions and her love of teaching has allowed her to visit, teach, and study in Spain, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Germany, Italy, and France.  In the U.S. she has taught and served as an administrator in Texas, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.  She loves and has called North Carolina HOME since 2004. 

Ms. de Leon describes the IS@G as "a gem of a school” with the sweetest and smartest children, an amazing and extremely hardworking staff, and a wonderful place to teach and learn in partnership with caring families and communities. 

When she’s not at Gregory, she is spending time with her family and friends enjoying the wonderful outdoors, live music/theater, restaurants, and numerous beautiful and historical places of interest that Wilmington and all of North Carolina has to offer.
